Understanding pH balancing

In today’s world, we are overfed and undernourished. Our Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) is abundant in calories but deficient in nutrients. The more cooked and processed foods we consume; the more vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients are pulled out of vital organs and tissues; therefore,  leading us towards an acidic pH state. Think about a typical meal prepared in most households; meat is the staple on the plate, followed by a starch, then an over-cooked vegetable usually smothered in pasteurized butter and/or dairy, and then topped off with a dinner roll consisting of white flour and pasteurized butter and/or dairy. Every single component of that meal sticks to your gut, organs, and tissues creating a highly acidic body. Plus, this overly cooked and nutrient deficient meal cannot be fully digested or utilized by our bodies. Finally, to top it all off, we wash this food down with harmful pasteurized milk, a carbonated beverage, tea, or toxic tap water. Day after day, week after week, and year after year, consuming meals like the one described above, will not allow the body to become a powerful alkaline self-healing machine, but a toxic/acidic body that is building disease.

The strain we put on our bodies through our acidic lifestyle, may lead to prolonged damage to our vital organs, tissues, and glandular systems. This bodily abuse can go undetected for many years, until warning signs or symptoms occur, that may seem trivial at first, but when ignored, can turn into a vicious monster wreaking havoc in our bodies creating disease(s).

Research reveals that 75% of Americans are suffering from chronic dehydration. Since our bodies are made up of water with our brains composed of 85% water, it’s vital to our existence! With Americans reportedly purchasing more soda than water, the state of chronic dehydration and acidity will only continue to rise. Persistent dehydration continuously creates new toxic chemical states in the body.
